Re-tell Lecture
Listen to a lecture, then re-tell it in your own words.
Scores count towardSpeakingListeningTwo skills, so time here counts twice on your report.
How to approach this
- Do this
- Note three or four key words while listening, then speak from them in full sentences.
- Avoid
- Trying to recall the lecture word for word. Your own words score better than a stalled recital.
- For example
- Open with "The lecture explains that..." so you begin speaking immediately.
